Who is responsible

BGG Technologies OÜ (registry code 16111279, Tallinn, Estonia) operates First Angle and this website, and is the controller of the personal data described here. Contact: rihard@firstangle.ai.

What we collect and why

Visit statistics without cookies

To see how the site is used, we count page views, referring sites, countries, device types and page speed with Vercel Web Analytics and Speed Insights, and page views and clicks with PostHog (EU cloud, Frankfurt). Nothing is stored on your device for this and you are not identified across visits. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in running and improving the site (GDPR Art. 6(1)(f)).

Analytics cookies, only if you accept

If you choose Accept in the cookie bar, PostHog stores an identifier in a cookie and in your browser's local storage so that later visits can be connected, and records your session on this site (what you click and scroll; text you type into fields is masked). If we use Google Analytics, it is loaded only after you accept, without advertising features. Legal basis: your consent (GDPR Art. 6(1)(a) and the Estonian Electronic Communications Act). You can withdraw consent at any time; withdrawing does not affect what happened before.

When you write to us

If you email us or book a demo, we use your name, email address, company and what you write to answer you and to prepare and hold the meeting. Legal basis: steps you ask for before a possible contract and our legitimate interest in replying (GDPR Art. 6(1)(b) and (f)).

Files you open in the 3D viewer

A CAD file you open on /3d is read in your browser. It is not uploaded to us or to anyone else.

Who processes the data for us

  • Vercel: website hosting, visit statistics and page speed.
  • PostHog: product analytics and, with your consent, session recordings, in its EU cloud.
  • Google: Google Analytics, only with your consent.

They process the data on our instructions under data processing agreements. Where a provider processes data outside the EU, it does so under the safeguards the GDPR requires.

How long we keep it

Visit statistics and analytics data are kept as long as they help us understand how the site is used, and no longer than 24 months. Emails and meeting notes are kept as long as there is a business relationship or a reasonable prospect of one, and then deleted, unless the law requires us to keep them longer.

Your rights

You can ask for access to your data, correction, deletion, restriction of processing and a copy of data you gave us, and you can object to processing based on legitimate interest. Write to rihard@firstangle.ai. You can also complain to the Estonian Data Protection Inspectorate (Andmekaitse Inspektsioon, www.aki.ee).
